I tihnk with te expansion that you sohuld be able to change your characters appearance, just incase you get bored of looking at the same freaky hair all the time...

I think they already said that they have that planned for the next expansion. Including town-clothes, battle-clothes, and even skanky-black-lingerie-night-clothes.
